Rokewood Lagoon is a unique community-run and family-friendly swimming location in Rokewood, Victoria, Australia
The lagoon is approx 1 hour north west of Geelong. A small entrance fee helps with upkeep and maintenance.
Facilities include car parking, beach and grassy areas, changing rooms with toilets and showers, BBQs, town supply drinking water, a pier, a shelter and plenty of trees. The lagoon is not chlorinated, and is emptied, cleaned and refilled depending on available water. Appropriate swimwear is expected.
The lagoon season begins approximately the 3rd week of December each year, and concludes the following March. Open 24/7 including public holidays, except when closed for maintenance.
