Rokewood Lagoon is a unique community-run and family-friendly swimming location in the town of Rokewood, Victoria, Australia
The lagoon is approx 1 hour drive to the north west of Geelong. A small entrance fee helps with upkeep and maintenance.
Facilities include car parking, beach and grassy areas, changing rooms with toilets and showers, BBQs, town supply drinking water, a pier, a shelter and plenty of trees. Appropriate swimwear is expected.
IMPORTANT: The lagoon is not chlorinated. It is emptied, cleaned and refilled depending on available water.
The Rokewood lagoon swimming season begins approximately the 3rd week of December each year, and normally concludes the following March. Open 24/7 including public holidays during the season, except when closed for maintenance.
